The fire threatened neighboring occupancies, but was confined to the property of origin. The male occupant of the home is still undergoing medical evaluation on scene. Unfortunately, a canine was located in the structure and determined deceased and beyond veterinary help. No other persons or animals were located in structure during a secondary search. No injuries to firefighter reported. Cause of fire is unknown.
