Two patients (35M/35M) were transported in critical condition, and two patients (38M/37M) were transported in fair condition. Both the bicyclist initially struck and the driver of the vehicle declined LAFD treatment and hospital transport. LADBS has yellow-tagged the building due to the damage sustained, but concluded there is no ongoing structural instability. UPDATE Vehicle into Structure - Multiple Fatalities; INC#0816; 12:11PM; 1360 S Westwood Bl; https://bit.ly/4tlgzIE; Westwood; Update 1:45PM - Three people confirmed deceased on the scene of this accident; four patients (two in at least serious condition, two with minor injuries) have been transported to local hospitals; two have signed out against medical advice on scene. LAPD states this is not being considered an intentional collision; the driver of the silver sedan has preliminarily been identified as an elderly female. SPILL IN HARBOR - Now Static; INC#0231; 04:35AM; 1500 E Anchorage Rd; https://bit.ly/3bY3dvh; Harbor; Los Angeles Fire Department fire and hazmat resources were called in early this morning to locate and stop a cracked pipe leaking a mixture of water and oil onto a drilling property. The leak was largely confined to land, with waterways minimally affected -- evacuations initially issued for live-aboard boats at Docks C and D have been lifted. No injuries reported. Several agencies including Watershed Management and US Coast Guard were involved at the height of the incident, which has now been turned over to the private company equipped with vacuum trucks and other resources to handle cleanup. Firefighters proceeded in the defensive mode, utilizing master streams (e.g. ladder pipe, large-bore hand lines) to fight fire from outside the building. Two occupants noted inside an unburned portion of the building during operations — removed unharmed, with no further patients noted. Knockdown declared in 30 minutes with 37 firefighters working on scene.
