Initial reports of one injured person being evaluated by LAFD paramedics. Unknown condition of patient or status of crowd at this time. KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire 10/25/2025 INC#0357

Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0357; 06:34AM; 1010 S Hooper Av; https://bit.ly/4nm3xGq; Downtown; It took 41 firefighters 30 minutes to archive a knockdown of the auto and structure fires. One patient from the involved automobile is being evaluated and transported to a local hospital for burn injuries. Units will remain on scene for approximately 2 hours to confirm complete extinguishment of the fire. LAFD Arson has been requested for additional investigation. IC (incident command) has requested Building and Safety to assist in determining the viability and safety of the compromised structure. No injuries reported to LAFD members. Update Tank Truck Rollover; INC#0283; 04:59AM; Sb 5 Tr; https://bit.ly/3WnC2Br; Boyle Heights; Golden State IC has determined no active leak of product (propane). The vessel can be safely up righted without off-loading fuel. LAFD Hazmat units will remain in place as the incident transitions to CHP command. CHP will utilize private contractors for repositioning the vessel as well as scene clean up. A SIG alert (CHP LOG 0487) has been issued for this incident due to the extended period of time the freeway is expected to be shut down. One LAFD member is being evaluated on scene for a minor injury. Media queries regarding this incident are referred to CHP LOG 0505. Tank Truck Fire; INC#0283; 04:59AM; Sb 5 Tr; https://bit.ly/3WnC2Br; Boyle Heights; Single tank big rig rollover on the transition from the SB 5 freeway transition to the 60 freeway. The pressurized single tank vessel is carrying an unknown amount of propane. Golden State IC is holding units in a defensive posture until the product can be safely offloaded. No active fire at this time. Units have determined the truck to be diesel powered and not an alternative/hybrid or electric fuel source. The driver of the truck is being medically evaluated on scene. No injuries to firefighters or civilians was reported. Cause of fire is unknown and under investigation.
