Firefighters stopped the leak and are working to contain any run off. It is a static situation with no serious injuries (two patients - one declining LAFD transport and one being evaluated). A reduced number of resources will handle the incident. Traffic will remain impacted on the SB 5 for an undetermined period of time. Crews will remain on scene conducting mop up operations. The fire was held to approximately 1/2 acre with no structures damaged and no injuries reported. LAPD has one individual in custody with bystander reports of arson. LAFD Arson will investigate the cause of the fire and work in coordination with LAPD.
