Firefighters made entry and determined the source of the smoke to be a lithium-ion battery -- knockdown achieved in 12 minutes. LAFD medics are assessing a dog that was in the unit for possible smoke inhalation, and LAFD hazardous materials experts are enroute to assist with disposal of battery. Nothing further.
