Multi-Patient Traffic Collision with Entrapment; INC#0058; 12:52AM; SB 5 Fwy x WB 134 Tr; https://bit.ly/4emA6AC; #GriffithPark; A single-vehicle rollover resulted in two trapped, one ejected, and a fourth who made it out on their own. Firefighters used hydraulic rescue tools to free the two trapped patients. A total of four were evaluated. Sadly, one was deceased on scene. Three others were transported to the hospital by paramedics (one in grave condition, and two in critical condition). CHP Log #146. CONTAINED Brush Fire; INC#1798; 12:39AM; 11000 N Redmesa Dr; https://bit.ly/4em5AH2; #Chatsworth; Firefighters attacked the fire by ground and air, holding it at approximately one total acre. It took 58 firefighters 55 minutes to stop forward progress. Crews will remain on scene to mop up (improve perimeter lines and put out hot spots within the burned area). No reported injuries. Update Vehicle Rollover with Hazardous Materials; INC#0796; 09:15PM; 940 N Seaside Av; https://bit.ly/3TLrew9; #SanPedro; After LAFD removed the shipping container from the roadway and cleared the big rig from the lanes, the roadway was inspected and there is no damage and all hazardous materials have been removed. All road closures have been lifted. LAFD currently remains in charge of the incident. The smoldering container (which is still on a fire department lowboy trailer) remains in a rail yard near Fire Station 40 in a secured site with no public access. Firefighters will monitor the container overnight and into the morning. We anticipate transferring control of the hazardous materials incident to the US Coast Guard by noon tomorrow. We do not anticipate any further updates.; Nicholas Prange

Update Vehicle Rollover with Hazardous Materials; INC#0796; 08:00PM; 940 N Seaside Av; https://bit.ly/3TLrew9; #SanPedro; Firefighters donned their fire-protection equipment and approached the wreckage with two LAFD Heavy Rescues and other heavy machinery to move the container (with hazardous lithium-ion batteries) to an open lot near LAFD Fire Station 40 on Terminal Island. The tractor portion of the big rig remains on the roadway, which is still closed. Crews are working to upright the big rig, remove it, and clean the roadway to, once again, allow safe travel by motorists on CA-47.; Nicholas Prange
