Firefighters forced entry into one unit and discovered heavy smoke, with fire held in check by sprinklers. Full knockdown in 20 minutes by first-arriving companies. After further assessment, HazMat units confirm this was an accidental release of pepper spray at Panorama High School. 28 patients are being assessed as they shelter in place in their classroom. All patients are in good/fair/stable condition and there is no ongoing threat. LAFD immediately requested all lanes of the WB and EB lanes of the 118 fwy be shut down by CHP. Unfortunately, the patient did complete their jump and is being transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
