[KNOCKDOWN] Structure Fire; INC#1418; 05:31PM; 516 E Jefferson Bl; https://bit.ly/3SJ0NtP; Historic South-Central; Jefferson IC declared a knockdown at 1747 hours. The fire was extinguished in approximately 16 minutes from the time of the 911 call. Updated size up from IC is a row of cypress trees on fire exposing a 100 foot by 200 foot commercial building. Fire made it into the building and was extinguished by firefighters. No injuries reported and no patients found. Cause is undetermined. Crews inside the building have confirmed an interior fire. Firefighters are operating in an offensive mode. Power lines are down in the area. Additional fire companies are being requested. No injuries reported at this time. Winds are out of the west at a speed of 10 MPH. LA County Fire Department and Angeles National Forest Service continue to assist in the fire fighting operations. No structures threatened at this time and there are no evacuation warnings. Valley IC states that there are structures threatened at this time. IC is requesting an additional 5 fire companies. LAPD is responding and LAPD incident is 2470. Angeles National Forest Service and LA County Fire Department are sending full brush responses to the fire in order to assist LAFD. NO evacuations or shelter in place orders have been placed at this time. Traffic [Physical Rescue] ; INC#0796; 11:17AM; 15800 W Ventura Bl; https://bit.ly/3Vr7TUs; Encino; Firefighters and paramedics responded to a traffic collision involving 2 vehicles at the intersection of Ventura Bl and Densmore Ave. There is a total of 6 patients that are being assessed, treated and transported to local area hospitals. LAPD is on scene and will be handling the investigation. LAPD incident number 1739. Ventura IC additionally requested the Department of Transportation for traffic control. Traffic is going to be shut down in both directions, both east and west of Densmore Av. Please avoid the area and expect delays. And the IC has reported a knockdown at 2054 hours, approximately 39 minutes from the 911 call. Originally two separate spots burning, now out. One spot 25 feet by 100 feet and a second spot 40 foot by 40 foot. No structures threatened or damaged. Fire crews will remain on scene to secure the fire and put out any hot spots within the perimeter of the fire. CHP is assisting with traffic control.
