An arson investigation is being done with Cal Fire having the jurisdiction on the investigation. West bound lanes of Silverlake Bl are closed at this time. Both on and off ramps to the 101 freeway are open. At this time the 101 freeway is open and unaffected. Firefighters held the blaze to the unit of origin. Cause of fire is undetermined. Due to the terrain, a hoist operation was utilized to capture the patient. The patient was transported to LAFD ground operations for further assessment.
