Update Forward Progress Stopped Brush Fire; INC#1029; 02:30PM; Sb 405 Fy; https://bit.ly/43m81pj; Brentwood; Approximately 3.5 acres of light to medium brush, burning slowly uphill with little to no wind. No structures threatened. Approximately 60 firefighters working on scene at the height of the incident stopped forward progress within 35 minutes. Companies remain on scene to cool hotspots and fully surround the burned area with a bare-earth perimeter. No injuries reported; cause unknown at this time. No structures are directly threatened. LAFD has multiple fire resources in the neighborhood north of the fire for structure defense if necessary.
