PHYSICAL RESCUE 06/05/2026 INC#0085

PHYSICAL RESCUE; INC#0085; 01:47AM; Eb 210 Fy; https://bit.ly/4x7kiLK; Sylmar; ROXFORD IC reported 3 vehicles and 2 semi trucks involved in a severe accident, with 1 semi truck hanging over the embankment of the freeway. One patient needed to be extricated via a physical rescue assignment by the LAFD and was found in critical condition. In total 3 patients were transported, 1 patient in critical condition and 2 patients in fair condition. ROXFORD IC also requested an LAFD Hazmat unit for a fuel leak and CHP responded and for closed all lanes of the freeway. CHP were escorting traffic off of the east bound Roxford offramp. Approximately 54 LAFD personnel were assigned to the incident. No LAFD injuries were reported. Emergency traffic called for patient having a firearm on or near his person. Firearm is secure. LAFD is now in a UNIFIED COMMAND with LAPD. LAPD is on scene and the incident will now be treated as a crime scene.
