The vehicle is resting against a tree and is not stable. Firefighters are working to stabilize the vehicle and Heavy Rescue rig is enroute to assess the situation. Mulholland Dr will remain closed from Laurel Canyon to Coldwater Canyon until the operation is complete. Traffic closure: Crews are closing Mulholland Dr at Laurel Canyon and Coldwater Canyon - drivers are advised to avoid the area. Firefighters are preparing for a two line rope system using a litter basket while LAFD Air Ops is enroute and will lower a medic to assist in evaluating the patient. Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0318; 07:16AM; 15249 W Victory Bl; https://bit.ly/3Y2jIwN; Van Nuys; KNOCKDOWN: 66 firefighters extinguished the fire in 41 minutes with no injuries reported. The fire extended up into the attic and at least one room in the building. The business, Chase Bank, was not yet open for the day and no one was present. LAPD are responding to secure the building. LADOT have traffic closed at Victory / Sepulveda and drivers are advised to avoid the area (do NOT drive over the 4' yellow supply lines that may be in the street) for the next several hours. LAFD Arson is responding for the investigation. Firefighters remain in the offensive mode with a coordinated vertical ventilation roof operation and interior fire attack, working to locate and isolate the attic fire while conducting salvage operations on the interior to protect property. KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0499; 10:24AM; 20352 W Sherman Wy; https://bit.ly/3jmRJJq; #Winnetka; Firefighters arrived to find a one-story home engulfed in flames, threatening neighbors. Firefighters rapidly deployed hose lines inside the burning building, while a company assigned to ventilation ascended ladders to the roof. Firefighters skillfully contained the damage to only the original structure, sparing all neighboring homes. Ultimately it took 38 firefighters 21 minutes to extinguish the blaze. All residents safely evacuated and there were no injuries. The residents will be displaced, but will be able to stay with nearby family. Update Flooding; INC#1618; 11:00PM; 6050 W Fountain Av; https://bit.ly/3XYQxLl; #Hollywood; Electric Fire Engine 82 arrived at the address where a flooding was reported to find water flowing in the gutters, but did not see where it originated. As the crew heard the street rumble under the Fire Engine, the driver took off, just as a large hole appeared under them. The rear of the apparatus fell into the hole. The Rosenbauer Fire Engine, being the only all-wheel drive fire engine in the fleet, gained enough traction with the power going to the front wheels to pull itself out of the hole and drive clear of the hazard (sustained some damage to the rear). As water shot dozens of feet into the air, Firefighters received reports of a woman trapped in a home being pounded by the falling stream of water. Crews were able to rescue her, without injury. Her home has now sustained a roof collapse and severe flooding. A SAVE card has been issued to help her with temporary lodging.
