The incident commander requested additional resources and firefighters initiated an offensive fire attack. 50 firefighters fully extinguished the fire in 25 minutes with no injuries reported. Firefighters prevented the fire from extending into the exposed building, limiting the damage to windows and the exterior. No injuries reported. The 9-1-1 call was received at 2:34AM. KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1462; 08:15PM; 10320 N Oakdale Av; https://bit.ly/3Mn98xy; #Chatsworth; An outside fire partially damaged a two-story home. Firefighters arrived to quickly extinguish the structure and outside fires, protecting the interior of the home. Firefighters are setting up ventilation measures to clear some light smoke that made its way inside. Ultimately, it took 18 firefighters 15 minutes to respond and extinguish the flames.
