Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0164; 02:21AM; 1169 W 16th St; https://bit.ly/41wN5et; #San Pedro; 35 Firefighters in 21 minutes were able to fully extinguish a detached garage fully involved with fire and exposures. LAFD firefighters used a well-coordinated fire attack operation and vertical ventilation techniques on the roof to prevent extension keeping the the detached garage the only structure damaged by smoke and fire. Units will remain on scene for unknown period of time performing overhaul procedures to ensure no chance of rekindle. 1 civilian patient treated and released on scene. no firefighter injuries reported.
