Update Brush Fire #GettyFire; INC#0074; 07:00AM; 1800 N Sepulveda Blvd; https://www.lafd.org/news/getty-fire; Los Angeles; As of 7:00AM on October 31, 2019: The fire remains at 745 acres with 39% containment. 12 residences destroyed and 5 damaged. No civilian injuries or fatalities, 2 minor Firefighter injuries. Firefighters worked overnight to cool any hot spots and contain any flare ups within the current fire perimeter. Adverse weather conditions will continue to be the greatest challenge for firefighters. An Extreme Red Flag Warning remains in effect through 6:00PM. Strong Santa Ana winds with peak wind gusts of 30-50 mpw will continue to impact wind prone areas of Los Angeles. Widespread single digit relative humidity's are forecasted. A large portion of the area was repopulated last night with the following area currently still under a mandatory evacuation - he West border is Kenter Avenue. The South border is Sunset Boulevard. The North border is the area just south of Mountaingate Avenue. The East border is the area adjacent to the 405 Freeway and Sepulveda Boulevard. NOTE: 405 Freeway is open in both directions. Sepulveda Boulevard northbound is open to all traffic.
