During their simultaneous fire attack and search of the fire- and smoke-charged residence, LAFD crews rescued and provided medical care to an adult male found inside the burning residence, who had sustained unspecified injuries. He was taken by LAFD Paramedics to an area hospital in critical condition. No other injuries were reported. No injury. There are a handful of automotive dealerships in the area, and we are seeking to confirm the current status and ownership/affiliation of the structure. One or more lanes of Roscoe Boulevard will remain closed between the San Diego (I-405) Freeway and Sepulveda Boulevard until LAFD operations are complete early Saturday morning. Motorists should anticipate congestion and avoid the area. The cause of the fire is under active investigation.
