The self evacuation of many residents was calmly underway on LAFD arrival, with some residents subsequently assisted to safely shelter in place under the supervision of LAFD responders. No injury has been reported. A bold offensive fire attack confined fire to the contents of the container, preventing direct fire damage to the adjacent structure that contained a nail salon. One adult male civilian (unknown site affiliation or circumstances) sustained serious burn injuries to both legs. He will soon be transported by LAFD Paramedics to an area hospital. No other injuries reported.
