Traffic - Sheared Hydrant; INC#0949; 02:15PM; 7829 W Melrose Av; https://bit.ly/3PT7x1q; Fairfax; LAFD shut down a sheared hydrant (result of a traffic collision) which is impacted the roof of a commercial building (no structural collapse). There is estimated to be 2' of standing water on the roof of the building and also water within the building (unknown amount/damage at this time). Firefighters are working to dewater the roof and then transition to inside the building. LA Dept of Water and Power are notified. There are no reported injuries from the collision.
