The remaining six patients (ages/genders not available at this time) all sustained *potentially* serious injuries due to the mechanism of injury but all were stable upon transport. The building is fully involved and the structural integrity of the building is starting to fail along at least one corner. There are no injuries reported and no other structures threatened. Traffic will be heavily impacted in the area and drivers are advised to avoid the area. Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0531; 10:28AM; 1788 S La Cienega Bl; https://bit.ly/3bOhtdd; Mid-City; KNOCKDOWN: 37 firefighters extinguished the fire in 43 minutes with no injuries reported. While crews quickly knocked by the flames within the business, the attic and facade fire took longer to isolate and access all remaining pockets of fire. No injuries reported. The extent of fire and/or smoke damage through the structure is not known at this time. Cause and $ loss TBD. The fire appears to have originated in a pizzeria and extended into the attic. The structure is a small, one story (L-shaped) strip mall and the extent of possible fire damage to additional units is unknown at this time. Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0511; 09:51AM; 352 W Slauson Av; https://bit.ly/3nywrH2; Florence; KNOCKDOWN: 48 firefighters extinguished the fire in 22 minutes with no injuries reported. After crews started making good progress, they transitioned to an offensive operation, moving inside for an interior fire attack (no roof operations). The building is divided into three units and the fire was primarily centered in one business (appears to be a wood-working operation). There are no injuries reported. Some LAFD resources are being released (knockdown achieved prior to the arrival of some of the added units). Cause and $ loss TBD.
