Due to the terrain, a hoist operation was utilized to capture the patient. The patient was transported to LAFD ground operations for further assessment. LAFD immediately requested all lanes of the WB and EB lanes of the 118 fwy be shut down by CHP. Unfortunately, the patient did complete their jump and is being transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
