LAFD operated in an offensive mode. Upon control of the fire, one civilian was located without signs of life inside the structure. The cause of the fire and the circumstances of the fatality are under investigation. LAPD has been notified. Swinton IC declared a knockdown at 0829 hours, approximately 23 minutes from the 911 call. Arson have been notified. LAPD incident number 1365.
