KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0386; 08:18AM; 1600 S Orchard Av; #PicoUnion; Firefighters arrived to find a two-story duplex with fire in one unit and the attic. A coordinated attack between rooftop ventilation and interior fire attack resulted in 30 firefighters extinguishing the flames in 13 minutes. No reported injuries. The attic was well-involved with fire, and partial involvement on the second floor. It took 67 firefighters 25 minutes to access, confine, and extinguish the flames. No reported injuries. Update Train vs Vehicle - Physical Rescue; INC#1364; 07:10PM; 1629 E 24th St; https://bit.ly/3KiFuWn; #CentralAlameda; A total of 5 people were in the vehicle that was struck by a Metro A (Blue) line train. Two were deceased on scene. Three have been transported to local hospitals in fair-to-moderate condition. Unknown ages/genders/circumstances. Approximately 125 passengers have now exited the train, without medical complaint. Two train operators have also disembarked.
