Knockdown - Greater Alarm Structure Fire; INC#0935; 03:10PM; 1136 S Alvarado St; https://maps.app.goo.gl/Wy6XcAx1HkoQtwNS9; #PicoUnion; 62 LAFD Firefighters took just 22 minutes to access, confine and fully extinguish flames that erupted in and heavily damaged a 4 vehicle carport (adjacent to and serving a two story apartment building at 1136 South Alvarado Street that was not involved with fire), before extending to - and being held by firefighters to the attic of a two-story residential fourplex to the east at 1137 1/2 South Westlake Avenue. No injury. Resident displacement yet to be determined.
