Dodgers vs. Brewers: Fire Chiefs Make a Friendly Wager

Wednesday, October 14, 2026
LOS ANGELES-

As the Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers face off in the National League Championship Series, Los Angeles Fire Chief Jaime Moore and Milwaukee Fire Department Chief Aaron Lipski are adding another layer of excitement to an already-thrilling postseason.

Chief Lipski challenged Chief Moore to a simple bet: if the Brewers win the series, Chief Moore will wear a Milwaukee Fire Department t-shirt and proudly show it off on social media. If the Dodgers win, however, Chief Lipski will represent in kind for the LAFD.

Chief Moore accepted the challenge, proudly displaying an LAFD t-shirt ready for shipment to Wisconsin.

“Both teams -- the Dodgers and the Brewers -- have given their fans plenty to cheer for this postseason," said Chief Moore. "The LAFD is proud to stand behind our hometown team and celebrate the city we serve.”

Not to be outdone by Dodger Stadium -- or honor, or sunshine -- Chief Lipski braved a cloudy Wisconsin afternoon at American Family Field to preview what may be a vintage t-shirt from his faster, fitter drill tower days. Though Chief Moore believes wholeheartedly in the Dodgers' ability to triumph in the Series, he admits he is thrilled at the secondary possibility of acquiring a genuine antique from the overcast heart of Wisconsin.

No matter the outcome of the NLCS, we know for certain that one highly respected Fire Chief will soon be representing for a department over halfway across the country. Join us on Instagram and Facebook as we await the outcome of this battle for baseball bragging rights!
