2023 LAFD Civilian Employee Recognition Luncheon
We are proud to announce the recipients of the Los Angeles Fire Department 2023 Civilian Employee Recognition Awards.
The Civilian Employee Recognition Awards proudly highlights our civilian employees who have gone above and beyond.
The Civilian Employee Recognition Committee (CERC) was established in 1991 to facilitate the recognition of outstanding civilian employee performance. At the end of each year nominations are submitted from the entire Department. The Committee reviews each submission and conducts interviews with the nominees. The final step requires the committee to perform background checks on each nominee and then recommend them to the Fire Chief.
Of the more than 300 non-sworn members that provide professional support, directly corresponding with the pursuit of the Department's mission to save life and property, the following were honored:
