No entrapment. *Eight patients* total. 2 declined hospital transport. Six patients were taken to area hospitals by LAFD Paramedics: Two adults in serious condition, 4 children (ages 6-12) with minor injuries. Though seatbelts were used, some of the children were improperly restrained (No car seats in use, at least two children sharing one seat belt). ADVISORY; 10:00AM; Hansen Dam Recreation Area; https://maps.app.goo.gl/9g71V5nJLJgDzeMQA; #LakeViewTerrace; As a result of first responders training for future wildfires, residents of foothill communities near the Hansen Dam Recreation Area in the northeast San Fernando Valley may notice an ongoing presence of public safety aircraft, including fire department helicopters periodically flying in formation, until 2:00 PM today. There is NO emergency and no need for public action. Again, this is a one day only training involving public safety aircraft and ground personnel that will conclude by 2:00 PM.
