It took 26 firefighters 11 minutes (2:36 PM) to snuff out the flames. No reported injuries. Update Flooding; INC#0095; 08:15AM; 10630 W Sunset Bl; https://bit.ly/3glQd2o; Westwood; 32 LAFD personnel remain assigned in an assisting agency role to LADWP and UCLA who are in unified command of the incident. Though no injuries or missing persons have been reported, LAFD will perform a comprehensive search of flooded subterranean sections of the UCLA Lot 4 Parking Structure as the floodwaters subside, and also assist L.A. Street Services in removing the toppled trees from Sunset Boulevard. Initial reports are that no other UCLA facilities, including nearby Pauley Pavilion sustained substantive damage. Sunset Boulevard remains full closed between Veteran Avenue and Hilgard Avenue, as does Stone Canyon Road from Sunset Boulevard to Bellagio Road, for an unknown duration. Motorists should avoid the immediate area and consider an alternate route. Detours are readily available. Bus riders should Follow @MetroLAAlerts on Twitter ( https://twitter.com/MetroLAAlerts ) to determine any service impact. Motorists are encouraged to monitor traffic reports on news radio.
