Knockdown - Structure Fire; INC#0748; 12:56PM; 20200 W Cantara St; https://bit.ly/3H7lns2; #Winnetka; The first arriving 50 LAFD Firefighters took just 36 minutes in a well coordinated offensive fire attack to access, confine and fully extinguish flames within a single three-story residential (townhome?) unit of two occupied floors above a ground level garage. Firefighters quickly and safely evacuated a mobility impaired female resident from a unit adjacent to the fire. No civilian or responder injuries have been reported. One firefighter has been taken to an area hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening ankle injury. No other injuries reported. Update Traffic Collision; INC#0901; 02:00PM; 6000 W Cadillac Av; https://bit.ly/3J6XIKj; MidCity; Solo sport utility vehicle struck two adult male pedestrians before colliding with a retaining wall outside a storage building. No entrapment. One of the pedestrians with severe lower body trauma was immediately taken to an area Trauma Center in critical condition. The other pedestrian appears to have very minor (graze?) injury, and is still being evaluated at scene. The adult female SUV driver appears to have sustained minor injury, and is being transported to an area hospital in fair condition. Hiker Rescue 12/20/2021 INC#1343

Hiker Rescue; INC#1343; 05:48PM; End of Wonder View Drive; https://bit.ly/3yMlaHT; Hollywood Hills; LAFD Ground and Air response to a pair of lost young adult female hikers discovered and now being aided by LAFD ground crews approximately 50' off a utility road in a wilderness area east of the the Tree of Life trail, about three-quarters (0.75) of a mile northeast of the end of Wonder View Drive. Only one is injured (condition undetermined), complaining of head, neck and back pain and an inability to walk. She is to be hoisted into a hovering LAFD rescue helicopter for continued in-flight care during direct transport to a regional trauma center.
