KNOCKDOWN Brush Fire; INC#0915; 03:43PM; 4720 S La Brea Av; https://bit.ly/3X0OK8G; Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw; KNOCKDOWN: 42 LAFD firefighters in coordination with a full brush response from LACoFD full contained and extinguished the fire in 1hr 43min with no injuries reported. While there were resources in place to provide structural defense if needed, the quick action of the two agencies ensured no homes were under direct fire threat. Some LACoFD resources will be remaining to assist LAFD with the mop up operation to ensure no hot spot remains. The fire was held to approximately 2 acres. No reports of structures threatened. LAFD is putting firefighters in place and the command is making contact with LA County to coordinate the incident. The 9-1-1 call was received at 2Pm.
