No structure damage. No evacuation. No injury. Fire cause under investigation. #LATraffic: A small section of the Metro Los Angeles 'G' (Orange) Line Busway will remain closed and require buses to make a short detour in the immediate area of the fire until LAFD operations are complete, unknown ETO. FORWARD PROGRESS STOPPED Brush Fire; INC#0906; 01:55PM; 16900 W Victory Bl; https://bit.ly/3AUxV8m; #SepulvedaBasin; Seventy-three firefighters battled flames in light-to-medium brush for 84 minutes before declaring all forward progress stopped at approximately 5 acres. Thankfully, there were no reports of injuries or structures damaged. There are still hot spots within the burned area that may emanate smoke and will require crews to work in the area for several more hours to improve containment lines and eliminate those hot spots. No infra/structure damage. No injuries. #LATraffic: All traffic lanes (northbound and southbound) on Woodley Avenue between Burbank Boulevard and Victory Boulevard will remain closed until LAFD operations are complete. Unknown ETO. Slow rate of spread. No current infra/structure threat. As a precaution, the 'Apollo 11 Model Aircraft Field' was calmly evacuated. No injuries reported. #LATraffic: Closure of all traffic lanes (northbound and southbound) on Woodley Avenue between Burbank Boulevard and Victory Boulevard until LAFD operations are complete. It took 24 firefighters approximately 25 minutes to extinguish the flames. No reported injuries.
