During the earlier phases of extinguishment, an adult male exited the structure with 3rd degree burns to both legs. In critical condition, he was provided immediate care at scene and during transport a regional burn center by LAFD Paramedics. No other injuries have been reported. There are currently no reports of any civilians injured or missing in or near the heavily damaged and structurally unstable fire building. LAFD Heavy Equipment (e.g. bulldozer, excavator) was summoned to begin abating physical hazards at the collapsing structure.
