Update Structure Fire - Now Out; INC#0559; 12:38PM; 451 S Main St; https://bit.ly/4mFWyYC; #Downtown; The fire involved an electric scooter in the third-floor *hallway* of the 12 story 297 unit "Rosslyn Lofts" residential high-rise (built 1913), and was held in check by fire sprinklers. The flames were fully extinguished by first arriving LAFD crews in less than 20 minutes. A 68 year-old female resident (undetermined relationship or proximity to the scooter) reportedly jumped from a third-floor fire escape prior to LAFD arrival, sustaining a severe leg injury and minor facial trauma. She was transported by LAFD Paramedics to an area hospital in fair condition. No other injuries were reported. An elder female civilian with unspecified injury has been transported by LAFD Paramedics to an area hospital. No other injuries reported. The primary and secondary searches are clear with no occupants located inside the structure. One adult male resident of the involved unit sustained minor burns to the fingers of one hand. He declined offered ambulance transportation. No other injuries reported.
