The fire appears to have primarily been an outside fire (numerous refrigerators et al in front of the small appliance business) which extended inside. Firefighters prevented the fire from extending into the attached medical clinic. The primary and secondary searches were clear. No injuries reported. Cause and $ loss TBD. Firefighters have set up the rescue air cushion on the freeway below. #LATraffic: Closure of all lanes in both directions until LAFD operations are complete (unknown duration). Reports are she is located about 20' down from the roof (four story apartment building). Condition of the patient is unknown at this time. Urban Search and Rescue along with Heavy Rescue specialists are evaluating the situation to determine how to most safely access the patient.
