One patient is trapped in the vehicle pinned underneath a semi truck. The occupant of the pinned vehicle is in *at least* critical to grave condition and requiring extrication. The second patient has non-life threatening injuries and is being evaluated for any necessary treatment or transport. The commercial building was defended from any damage. The freeway will likely remain closed for an extended period as additional (non LAFD) resources are brought in to pull the truck back onto the road and safely remove it. The sole occupant (driver) of the truck was safely out before LAFD arrival and does not have any injuries. There are two additional patients being evaluated (unknown injuries or where they were located). The freeway is currently shut down.
