After withdrawing to defensive operations and knocking back the flames, firefighters re-entered the building to finish the job. Ultimately, it took 96 firefighters 46 minutes to extinguish the flames. Thankfully, this particular metal-working business did not contain some of the flammable metals (like magnesium) that can be a concern, but only aluminum was the main metal found inside. There were no reported injuries. Thankfully the fire sprinklers prevented the flames from growing rapidly. It took 36 firefighters 27 minutes to fully extinguish the flames, confining the fire to the unit of origin. Firefighters kept the flames back from nearby commercial buildings, which did not sustain any damage. No reported injuries.
