LAPD notified and the LAFD is evacuating 14128 Polk Street. 12 units affected. No reports of injuries or medical complaints at this time. No active fire hazard. [UPDATE] Brush Fire; INC#0624; 10:18AM; 2652 N Commonwealth Rd; https://bit.ly/4faaSZB; Griffith Park; Forward progress stopped on the brush fire was declared at 1053 hours. 1/4 acre fire in light grass to medium brush. The LAFD has a wet line around the parameter of the fire and will remain on scene to make sure all hot spots are out. No injuries reported. No structures or exposures damaged. Initial reports are that it a 100' by 100' fire, no wind and in light grass. LAFD getting water on the fire now. E209 on scene reported a 100' x 100' one story commercial building with an outside fire exposing and extending into the building. LAFD attacked the fire in an offensive mode. LAFD crews inside are reported on the tactical radio channels that there wasn't any active fire in the building, only residual smoke making its way into the building through vents . BC1 assumed IC and COMPTON IC. Additional units adjacent to the fire are clear. Approximately 32 LAFD firefighters on scene.
