[KNOCKDOWN] Structure Fire; INC#0447; 08:37AM; 1600 S Compton Av; https://bit.ly/4tE9Po6; Downtown; Knockdown declared by COMPTON IC at 0837 hours. E209 on scene reported a 100' x 100' one story commercial building with an outside fire exposing and extending into the building. LAFD attacked the fire in an offensive mode. LAFD crews inside are reported on the tactical radio channels that there wasn't any active fire in the building, only residual smoke making its way into the building through vents . BC1 assumed IC and COMPTON IC. Additional units adjacent to the fire are clear. Approximately 32 LAFD firefighters on scene.
