There are currently no structures threatened or evacuations in place. Structure Fire; INC#0346; 06:06AM; 745 W El Segundo Bl; https://bit.ly/3zDGlNl; Harbor Gateway; FIRE NOW OUT: 30 firefighters extinguished fire in an apartment in 17 minutes. The first arriving fire company reported finding a two story apartment building with heavy smoke showing from one side. An offensive fire attack ensued and crews held the fire to one unit. Smoke infiltrated adjacent units but no fire damage. One occupant of the involved unit was evaluated for possible smoke inhalation and declined hospital transport. There were no other injuries reported. The 9-1-1 call was received at 5:49AM. Cause and $ loss TBD. Update Structure Fire; INC#0796; 12:51PM; 4037 W Tracy St; https://bit.ly/3bHJaES; Los Feliz; KNOCKDOWN: 28 firefighters extinguished the fire in 19 minutes. The residence has two floors of residential over the garage. Firefighters contained the fire to the 1st floor (garage) which had no auto but a significant amount of stored belongings. Their actions prevented the fire from extending into the floors above. One patient is being evaluated for smoke inhalation and does not appear to need/want ambulance transport. Cause and $ loss TBD. Upon LAFD arrival, firefighters found smoke showing from the attic and entered into an offensive mode. Knockdown - Structure Fire; INC#0707; 12:01PM; 1766 S Walgrove Av; https://bit.ly/3QgimKU; #MarVista; *Corrected Address*. Solo passenger vehicle struck and came to rest well within a 738 square foot two-story home (built 1952), causing structural compromise and erupting in heavy fire prior to LAFD arrival. 59 Firefighters took 65 minutes to access, confine and fully extinguish the stubborn flames within the heavily damaged structure, and rescue one female adult found within the vehicle, who has been taken to an area hospital by LAFD Paramedics in critical condition. No other injuries reported. LAFD PIO Captain Erik Scott is en route.
