A an explosion on scene injured multiple firefighters. Three have already been transported to a local hospital (at least two in critical condition). They held the fire to the unit of origin, and extinguished the flames in 14 minutes from the time of alarm. No reported injuries. KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0896; 01:17PM; 337 S 6th Av; https://bit.ly/49s9vzm; #Venice; Firefighters arrived to a property containing three separate two-story condos with smoke showing from the first floor of one unit toward the rear. The property was cordoned off and appeared to be vacant. Firefighters made access to the fire unit with hose lines, confined the fire to the unit-of-origin, and extinguished the flames in 16 minutes with 36 firefighters assigned to the incident. No reported injuries. Firefighters made entry to locate a contents-only fire inside of the building, where they found that this was the site of a previous burn. It took 32 firefighters 17 minutes to access, confine, and extinguish the flames. No reported injuries.
