Patient was found, evaluated, and treated on the scene while awaiting a hoist into an LAFD Air Operations Helicopter for transport by air to a local hospital. No firefighter injuries were reported. Sinking Boat [Static Situation]; INC#0430; 08:16AM; Berth 42 Spd; https://bit.ly/4am0JUe; San Pedro; Fire companies are on scene of an approximately 50 foot vessel at the slip at Berth 42 . The ocean going vessel was slowly taking on water. Firefighters found about 2 feet of water on the boat and have stopped the leak. LAFD Boat 1, LAFD Boat 5 and LAFD Boat 23 are actively engaged in a de-watering operation. No reported injuries. LA Port Police Department have been notified. Sinking Boat; INC#0997; 03:01PM; 1 La Light ; https://bit.ly/37sUSxv; outside city; Fire companies are on scene of a 40 foot commercial fishing boat at LA Light taking on water. 3 individuals on the boat have been safely extracted from the sinking boat and firefighters have a started a de-watering operation. LAFD Boat 1 and LAFD Boat 5 are actively engaged in de-watering the sinking vessel. All patients have been evaluated and there are no reported injuries. Cause of the boating accident is unknown at this time. US Coast Guard, LA County Lifeguards and the LA Port Police Department have been notified. REDLINE; INC#0828; 12:58PM; 6815 W Hollywood Bl; https://bit.ly/3VnSpR8; Hollywood; Fire companies responded to a report of one patient on the redline track at the Hollywood and Highland Redline station. Once firefighters arrived on scene, they were able to quickly extricate the patient off of the tracks to a safe location. Patient is currently being evaluated and prepared for transport to a local hospital. No firefighter injuries are reported at this time. The events leading up to the patient falling down onto the tracks are unknown at this time. The Rail Operations Center was contacted and the tracks were temporarily de-energized and traffic on the tracks were shut down during the rescue. The Rail Operations Center has since reopened the tracks. Reported source of flooding and hillside collapse was a garden hose, overflowing the pool above the hillside for an unknown amount of time. All residents evacuated by LAPD have been released to return to their homes. LADBS red-tagged the pool area (drained by LAFD) and portions of the damaged structure at the base of the hill.
