The uninjured patient declined LAFD treatment and was reunited with his (uninjured) dog. His dog is safely up on the trail above. Firefighters are preparing a two-line rope system to lower a rescuer to the patient and then safely capture and bring the patient to level ground. Multi-Patient Illness; INC#1363; 06:57PM; LAX Terminal 2; https://bit.ly/44dW97C; #Westchester; PRELIM: 6 crew members ( Two Pilots / 4 Flight Attendants ) from an arriving single-aisle commercial passenger jet that had already deplaned passengers, were found standing on a jetway, complaining of headaches after they noted an odor (they surmise to be aircraft exhaust) within the aircraft after landing. The odor had dissipated upon airline ground crew and LAFD arrival. LAFD responders closely examined the aircraft cabin and cockpit with specialized instruments, and found no environmental hazard. One of the crew members has declined transportation, the other five are now being taken to an area hospital by LAFD ambulance in fair condition for further observation. KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0586; 11:00AM; 2232 N Beachwood Dr; https://bit.ly/3NOrAj2; #HollywoodHills; Firefighters responded to find only light smoke, but discovered that fire was well-established in the hidden wall space and attic, and spread throughout the ducting to multiple units. Firefighters ensured all occupants were out, and "chased down" all of the flame and hot structural materials in the building, most of which was not easily accessible. It took 48 firefighters 53 minutes to access, confine, and extinguish all fire within the two-story residential occupancy. No reported injuries. Update Structure Fire; INC#1635; 10:06PM; 1839 N Kenmore Av; https://bit.ly/2TEOLTl; Los Feliz; The incident transitioned to a defensive operation as the fire was through the roof of the two story, vacant structure. Firefighters aggressively attacked the fire to prevent it from extending to the exposed large trees (which could have caused further extension) and have knocked back the bulk of those flames. Crews are now returning to the offensive mode as they make entry to the attic to root out the remaining fire.
