One adult male civilian who experienced smoke exposure was transported by LAFD ambulance to an area hospital in undetermined condition. Another civilian at a nearby address is currently being evaluated at scene by LAFD Paramedics for an unspecified medical complaint. Crews initiated a fire attack and found smoke coming from one room. While extinguishing the contents-only fire (in one room), firefighters located a patient and carried them out of the building. The patient (age/gender unknown) is in *at least* critical condition. LAFD Arson requested for the investigation per protocol for significant injury.
