Update KNOCKDOWN Brush Fire; INC#0767; 02:27PM; 11060 N Dronfield Av; https://bit.ly/2BvUsti; Hansen Dam; 35 firefighters chased down a quarter-to-half acre of medium-heavy brush on fire in the flats of the Hansen Dam area. 35 firefighters extinguished all of the active flames in 39 minutes. Crews will remain on scene to "mop up" the burn area. No reported injuries. A well-coordinated attack by 26 firefighters limited the fire damage to mostly the attic, with some damage to the living space in the rear. Firefighters opened up a hose line from the roof to finish extinguishing the flames 19 minutes after the first alarm. No fire extension into the basement.
