LAFD Air Operations transported the patient by air to a local trauma center in critical condition. Update Brush Fire; INC#1088; 03:30PM; 11200 Porter Ranch Dr; https://bit.ly/3FRlIQu; #PorterFire; After approximately 24 hours, there continues to be hot spots and active flames within the burn footprint, however the perimeter of the fire has remain unchanged since yesterday evening. After a more thorough survey, the fire was found to be held to just 4.09 acres. The area remains under continuous monitoring by LAFD firefighters ("fire watch"). Crews remaining in the area are positioned to ensure the current perimeter holds. Hand crews from the Los Angeles County Fire Department and Angeles National Forest are assigned to assist with further containment, felling of dangerous tree limbs and cold trailing of the fire's perimeter. One civilian pickup truck parked at the Porter Ranch Drive park-and-ride lot adjacent to the 118 Freeway, was destroyed by fire. No injury. No structure damage. No evacuation. The fire remains south of the Ronald Reagan (SR118) Freeway, with some small spotting at the perimeter. The firefight continues, with a containment factor yet to be determined. No injury. No structure damage. No evacuation.
