After an initial transitional attack from the exterior, firefighters were able to make entry and move into an offensive attack. A thorough search of the structure found no occupants inside. The address was updated and the structure was identified as one of three on the property. None of the other buildings were damaged. Two patients are being evaluated, male and female (age and condition unknown) for burn injuries. There are 'exotic' animals on site (number unknown) that were sequestered and are not injured. La Tuna Canyon Road is closed in both directions due to large-diameter hose lines on the street, please avoid the area. LAFD Arson and Counter-Terrorism Section is responding for the investigation. Hiker Rescue; INC#0569; 10:19AM; O'Melveny Park; https://bit.ly/3BRjLzB; Granada Hills; PRELIM: LAFD ground and air response to a teenage male hiker with an apparent ankle injury on a remote trail in the O'Melveny Park area of the Santa Susana Mountains. A hovering LAFD rescue helicopter has lowered a rescuer to assess the patient and provide initial medical treatment.
