There are no winds. They are getting handlines in place but it will take time given the terrain. There are no structures threatened and no injuries reported. . Some LAFD resources are being released and a scaled down response will handle. LAFD helicopters made water drops while firefighters work their way to reach it with handlines. All LA County Fire resources are being released and this will be handled by LAFD only. No additional resources are expected to be required. There are no structures threatened and no evacuations in place. LAPD Inc# 4238 Sheriff Dept also responding. All further questions are referred to the appropriate law enforcement agency. Firefighters will assist with body recovery as required. Update Brush Fire - Hansen Dam #PaxtonIC; INC#1062; 05:31PM; 12001 Montague St; https://bit.ly/3xRPoJp; Hansen Dam; The fire is at approximately 10-12 acres with winds remaining about 8-10 mph. The Hansen Dam Aquatic Center was evacuated (approx 1,000 people). The remain no injuries reported and no other evacuations. Firefighters are making progress getting handlines around the perimeter of the fire but a containment % is not yet available. Update Trench Rescue FATALITY 06/24/2022 INC#0742

Update FATALITY Trench Rescue; INC#0742; 12:18PM; 8405 N Glenoaks Bl; https://bit.ly/3OX4NiP; Sun Valley; Sadly, the patient was determined dead on scene. The incident is transitioning to a recovery operation with some LAFD resources being released. This does not *appear* to be a city employee but instead a private business construction operation however that is not yet confirmed. OSHA is being notified, per protocol, and is the point of contact regarding circumstances/cause etc. LAPD (Inc# 2136) and LA County Coroner are the referring agencies regarding identity and cause of death. No further details. CONTAINED Brush Fire; INC#0966; 03:34PM; 15278 W Lakeside St; https://bit.ly/39V8pme; #Sylmar; Forward progress of the fire has been stopped at approximately 25 acres - combination of grass and brush. Firefighters assigned to structure protection defended homes on several sides of the fire, while air and ground crews made direct attacks on the flames to snuff out this fire in one hour and 40 minutes. No structures damaged. No reported injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
