Firefighters arrived to quickly extinguish the structure and outside fires, protecting the interior of the home. Firefighters are setting up ventilation measures to clear some light smoke that made its way inside. Ultimately, it took 18 firefighters 15 minutes to respond and extinguish the flames. The garden style apartment building is two stories in the front and 3 (two over parking) at the back. The fire was in one unit on the 3rd floor. Firefighters contained the blaze to the unit of origin with both adjacent apartments protected from damage. The primary search of the occupancy is clear with no victims located. Cause and $ loss TBD.
