Firefighters prioritized fire attack and protection of neighboring houses, achieving knockdown in 16 minutes with 39 firefighters on scene. Though the fire was prevented from extending to businesses or other vehicles parked nearby, the remains of one person (undetermined age/gender/site affiliation/circumstances) were found within the charred remnants of the Class A style motorhome. No other injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under active investigation. Update Technical Rescue 07/25/2025 INC#1192

Update Technical Rescue; INC#1192; 04:24PM; 14200 W Mulholland Dr; https://bit.ly/3Ut9TYG; Beverly Crest; Thanks to the efforts of 45 firefighters, one adult female was safely rescued from a perilous position on a hillside. The patient reportedly fell down the side of the hill after losing balance while peering over the edge of the hillside. LAFD Urban Search and Rescue crews set up a low angle rope system to safely move the patient up to street level. KNOCKDOWN Hazardous Materials 07/25/2025 INC#0373

KNOCKDOWN Hazardous Materials; INC#0373; 07:32AM; 18251 W Napa St; https://bit.ly/4lQt5vy; Northridge; The unified command of LAFD, LAPD and LA County Health HAZMAT resulted in the safe mitigation of a burning Lithium-Ion battery powered "skid steer" tractor. After allowing the tractors batteries to release all of their stored energy, crews were able to safely extinguish what remained of the tractor. After extensive atmospheric testing, LAFD HAZMAT crews have determined the previously affected areas are all deemed "Safe and unaffected" from all further hazards associated with this incident. All evacuation orders and warnings are discontinued. All street closures are discontinued.
