One person determined dead in the aircraft (age/gender unknown at this time). The small fuel leak was quickly contained by the first arriving fire companies. There was no fire resulting from the crash. The NTSB is responding and will be the agency for any questions regarding the aircraft and the circumstances leading to the crash. LAFD PIO Firefighter Shawn Lenske is responding for media availability (fire related involvement only). One adult male occupant (undetermined condition or site affiliation) will be transported to an area hospital for unspecified illness or injury. Firefighters rescued one pet dog from the residence, who is being medically evaluated at scene by LAFD personnel pending the arrival of Animal Services. No other injuries reported.
