Additional resources were requested. Firefighters initiated an offensive operation and quickly extinguished the outside fire while crews also made entry into the building. They knocked down the interior fire, preventing it from extending into the attic. There are no injuries reported. The 9-1-1 call was received at 3:03AM. There were no persons exposed to the mercury. Out of an abundance of caution, the building is being evacuated to ensure the HVAC system does not created a hazard. The fire destroyed the unit of origin and the extent of damage to the adjacent units is being determined. The exposed mobile home / RVs were defended from damage.
