Park Rangers, have stopped forward progress of the three separate spot fires in medium-to-heavy brush to a total of approximately one-half (0.50) acre within the Hansen Dam Recreation Area. These fires were *different from and somewhat distant* to the fires earlier in the day (LAFD Incident #0840). No injury. No infra/structure damage. No evacuation. KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0550; 10:35AM; 18569 W Burbank Bl; https://bit.ly/3M1oHZn; Tarzana; KNOCKDOWN: 45 firefighters extinguished the fire in 30 minutes with no injuries reported. The fire was primarily in the common (about 2' high) attic and moved horizontally down the B side (West) towards the C side (North) of the building. The truck companies on the roof created holes in the roof and used handlines to extinguish the bulk of the fire while interior fire attack address fire in the walls in (at least) one unit. Firefighters will remain on scene for salvage and overhaul operations. Cause of the fire and $ loss TBD. Firefighters successfully defended the neighboring structures. Primary and secondary searches of the structure were clear (no patients found). No reported injuries.
