Update Multi-Patient Traffic Collision; INC#0999; 04:15PM; 14961 W Hubbard St; https://bit.ly/4bU7z3L; #Sylmar; Four vehicle traffic collision with one vehicle overturned. No entrapment. *Eight patients* total. 2 declined hospital transport. Six patients were taken to area hospitals by LAFD Paramedics: Two adults in serious condition, 4 children (ages 6-12) with minor injuries. Though seatbelts were used, some of the children were improperly restrained (No car seats in use, at least two children sharing one seat belt). Update Structure Fire; INC#0323; 08:15AM; 21724 W Napa St; https://bit.ly/3QQfkjc; #CanogaPark; Firefighters performing an exhaustive search of the densely packed 1,320 square foot home discovered three dogs within the otherwise unoccupied residence. Though one of the dogs was discovered alive and provided supportive care by firefighters, the other two dogs sadly perished in the smoke charged building. The three adult residents were away from their home at the time of the fire. No human injuries have been reported. Though flames extended through the attic, 32 LAFD Firefighters extinguished the stubborn fire in just 30 minutes. No human injury. A search continues for three missing dogs. KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire ; INC#0610; 10:59AM; 6557 N Mclennan Av; https://bit.ly/3QMMrnR; #LakeBalboa; It took 39 firefighters 23 minutes to extinguish the flames in this one-story single family home. Fire began in the kitchen, and all occupants escaped the house prior to fire department arrival; several cats were pulled to safety by firefighters and treated for smoke inhalation. No surrounding homes were affected, no occupant or firefighter injuries reported.
