Update Multi-Patient Traffic Collision; INC#0999; 04:15PM; 14961 W Hubbard St; https://bit.ly/4bU7z3L; #Sylmar; Four vehicle traffic collision with one vehicle overturned. No entrapment. *Eight patients* total. 2 declined hospital transport. Six patients were taken to area hospitals by LAFD Paramedics: Two adults in serious condition, 4 children (ages 6-12) with minor injuries. Though seatbelts were used, some of the children were improperly restrained (No car seats in use, at least two children sharing one seat belt). Though one of the dogs was discovered alive and provided supportive care by firefighters, the other two dogs sadly perished in the smoke charged building. The three adult residents were away from their home at the time of the fire. No human injuries have been reported. Fire began in the kitchen, and all occupants escaped the house prior to fire department arrival; several cats were pulled to safety by firefighters and treated for smoke inhalation. No surrounding homes were affected, no occupant or firefighter injuries reported.
